SCHOOLS & WORKSHOPS

Through movement, develop self-confidence, awareness of others, and the power of collective creation.

Frak shares her passion for dance, video, and movement through various educational formats. Her interventions sit at the intersection of dance and education, with a strong focus on the human experience.

  • The Fraking Workshops: open workshops and courses for all, combining dancer development, creative laboratories, and learning hip hop, abstract, or contemporary choreographies. Masterclasses further enrich these sessions, with emphasis on staging, musicality, foundations, and choreographic culture.
  • Choreographic projects in schools and universities: each year, Frak supports multiple institutions in designing and producing original creations. Each project is tailored to the audience, disciplines, and educational objectives. Dance becomes a tool for learning, social connection, and personal growth, where vulnerability transforms into a resource for both individual and collective development.

Last season, nearly 450 students participated in her workshops and creations across diverse contexts: middle schools, high schools, universities, dance-focused academic programs, and higher education courses.

Tailored educational interventions: short-term (a few days, weeks, or months) or year-long, designed to meet the specific needs of each project and audience.

  • Interventions in Universities: modules for future physical education teachers, providing pedagogical tools around musicality, movement, and spatial exploration to enrich their teaching practices.
  • Lectures on the history of hip-hop: insights into the origins and geopolitical context of this cultural and artistic movement.
  • Cross-disciplinary dance and audiovisual projects: inter-school collaborations fostering encounters between different audiences and collective creation beyond the walls of each institution.
  • Dance cycles in PE: support for teachers in designing pedagogical sequences, with complementary artistic expertise to give students useful tools for their quarterly assessments.
